"Iosif" Passed my driving test today, is the second time i applied for my test, first time, about a year ago was a total failure, now decided to get few lesson which proved to be the best thing. had KEVIN from RSA Driving School as instructor. i had lot's of bad habbits, which Dermot spotted out from early meetings, had a huge problem with the clutch,and wih patience and calm, explaining me where i go wrong and what is the best way to do it, now i passed my test with nearly no mistakes, i'd recommend Dermot to everyone who wants to do thier test, he is the best intructor ever, thanks for everything Dermot and yea, i'll stay off the clutch :P

This week I sat my driving test for the fourth time. I was a bag of nerves the last few times and would crumble under the pressure, I was recommended RSA driving school just under a week before I was due to do the test again. Gary from the RSA driving school had been recommended to me by my daughters friend who had trained with Gary and passed first time around. Gary was absolutely brilliant to say the least considering I had already tried numerous instructors in past attempts. Gary taught me things that I was never aware of and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my test which I did... I had a two hour lesson with Colman from RSA driving school and learned more in that two hours than I did in other lessons I had from anybody else. I went to two other driving schools before Colman and didn't learn things from them that Colman went through with me in the two hours he worked with me.It was my first time meeting him and he treated me like I was one of his regular students. I am a very nervous driver and he made me feel at ease and confident and told me what exactly it was I had to work on before my test. Had my test today and passed!!! Thanks a mill Colman!! Will definitely be recommending you to everybody =)
The Parody of Pass Rates
We won't patronise you with stories of our grand pass rates. Any driving school that claims to have a 98% passrate or similar is quite frankly lying and could not prove it. Why try to mislead the public? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. Here is the thing. Because of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicle a minimum of 10% of students fail the test on average. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility. Tread carefully when choosing your driving school and you see claims such as these.

I am delighted to write this review to highlight the fact that after four previously "failed" tests, I passed my test today. A large part of the happy outcome is due to the highly competent, effective and professional instruction I received from the RSA driving school, and in particular, my instructor, Kevin. I had gone to different instructors previously, and my confidence was at low ebb due to four previous failures. I was beginning to think that, somehow, this test eluded me. Fortunately, I happened upon the RSA school website, but was wary about picking another different school/ instructor, as I felt my driving tests had actually disimproved with each new school I attended! Luckily, I was provided with the complete antithesis to what I had experienced previously -- logical explanation, clarity of what was needed, and a teaching manner that was both personable and encouraging, while still clearly stating the work which needed to be done. Kevin was an excellent teacher, and only taught me for two lessons, and a pre test. My driving improved immeasurably and I was alerted to so many issues that I had not been advised about with other schools. I am a teacher myself, and previously felt frustrated regarding the "up and down" nature of teaching quality from other schools I experienced. But, in what can be quite an unregulated industry in terms of the quality of teaching, I cannot recommend the RSA school enough, and in particular, Kevin, my instructor. This is clearly a professional, highly competent and focused operation, who in effect, get the job done efficiently. They appear to genuinely want you to succeed. and accordingly, deserve to do very well. I have no doubt that they will do so. Goood luck, Miriam
