Sat my test today for the first time I was so nervous the weather was unbelievable and against all odds i passed thanks to Michael from RSA who gave me a few lessons in his car. I'm so happy I passed my driving test! I highly recommend Cornel from the RSA driving schoolfor anyone taking their test. I arrived home 2 and half weeks ago after being abroad for a year with a letter in my post-box that said I had to take my test on the 21st December! I was gutted having to do it right before Christmas and immediately felt there was absolutely no hope of me passing. I found Cornel's name on the list of approved driving instructors (ADI). I liked the reviews I read so I gave him a call. After a chat over the phone I felt comfortable and confident that he was the right instructor for me. The next day I was having my first lesson! Cornel put me completely at ease and after the first lesson I knew exactly where I was and what I needed to accomplish before the test. He really gave me confidence and simple steps and methods to practice. I walked into the test confident that I had what it took to pass – and I did thanks to Cornel! I'm a teacher myself and can say that Cornel is a gifted teacher who genuinely wants the best for his students. Unlike other driving schools, we’re not going to try and blinker you with pass rates. The shameful truth is that any school that boasts pass rates of 98% are feeding you lies which they can not substantiate. Why lie? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. The reality is that at least 10% of students fail the test due to unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicles. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility.
