My name is Radhika and I was terrified to learn to drive! With some short and sweet help from the guys at RSA I passed my test! For most of my life I had been terrified of having to drive, but, eventually circumstances forced me to get myself together and get a couple of basic lessons in an automatic car and I took off on my own, after 4 years driving my own way, with lots of bad habits and lack of technical skills, my test date came round and I needed help badly. I called the RSA driving school in Tallaght only days before my test and was assured lessons in an automatic and also the same car hire for the test itself. After only 5 mins in the car my weaknesses were spotted and homed in on. In a friendly, helpful manner all of these were pointed out to me and the correct way to do things was drummed into my head. I headed out for my test slightly nervous, naturally, but after paying attention to the instructors advice I passed with no problem. I couldnt be happier. After years of self doubt all it took was a good, patient teacher and to get me my confidence and my full licence.

This week I sat my driving test for the fourth time. I was a bag of nerves the last few times and would crumble under the pressure, I was recommended RSA driving school just under a week before I was due to do the test again. Gary was absolutely brilliant to say the least considering I had already tried numerous instructors in past attempts. 5 Lessons with RSA was all that I needed to pass my driving test, 2 of which i took on the morning of my driving test at Rathgar. I passed my driving test in the first attempt, all thanks to Colman and RSA. Colman pointed out exactly what was required to pass my test. He took me through the test routes which surprisingly or knowingly turned out to be 80-90% similar on the driving test itself. He pointed out my technical faults that only the way he can and consistently drilled down on me till the faults were corrected. I still remember the proverb MSPO MSS while driving today. I would highly recommend RSA and especially Colman, he is arguably the best in the business. My only regret was that I should have taken my EDT Lessons with Colman.
The Parody of Pass Rates
We won't patronise you with stories of our grand pass rates. Any driving school that claims to have a 98% passrate or similar is quite frankly lying and could not prove it. Why try to mislead the public? Because their real reputation is poor and out of a desperation and want to get their hands on your hard earned euros, they try to manipulate you with fake stats. Here is the thing. Because of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicle a minimum of 10% of students fail the test on average. By this statistic alone you can see that only a 90% pass rate would be achievable on average and we can assure you this is seldom the case. Fair warning, don't be fooled by these common place, outrageous claims.
