I have just successfully passed the driving test. I really appreciated the professional job done by Cornel, instructor from RSA driving school.I think I gave him almost all the constraints we can image and he succeeded in. I gave him only a month, I was a learner with a french culture and starting almost from scratch, with a lack of confidence. I might have come earlier to see him but I didn't know that an instructor could be very different to another. I really recommend him for any type of drivers from beginners to experimented who are looking for being 100% prepared to succeed in the driving test. 5 Lessons with RSA was all that I needed to pass my driving test, 2 of which i took on the morning of my driving test at Rathgar. I passed my driving test in the first attempt, all thanks to Colman and RSA. Colman pointed out exactly what was required to pass my test. He took me through the test routes which surprisingly or knowingly turned out to be 80-90% similar on the driving test itself. He pointed out my technical faults that only the way he can and consistently drilled down on me till the faults were corrected. I still remember the proverb MSPO MSS while driving today. I would highly recommend RSA and especially Colman, he is arguably the best in the business. My only regret was that I should have taken my EDT Lessons with Colman.
The Parody of Pass Rates
We won't patronise you with stories of our grand pass rates. Any driving school that claims to have a 98% passrate or similar is quite frankly lying and could not prove it. Why lie? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. Here is the thing. Because of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicle a minimum of 10% of students fail the test on average. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility. Fair warning, don't be fooled by these common place, outrageous claims.

I passed my D1 mini bus test second time round thanks to Cornel. After my first failed attempt I found out about Cornel from a past client that used and recommended him. He was excellent and had great tips and advice for bus driving. He told me LOTS of different things that other driving instructors didn't. I have no doubt that only for the professional lessons & advice I got from Cornel I would not have passed second time round. I would highly recommend getting lessons from Cornel at RSA driving school to anyone sitting their driving test in the near future
