I would recommend RSA Driving School without hesitation to anyone who is taking their driving test. I had previously failed the test twice because of a lack of clear guidance, however, having had only a handful of lessons with RSA in the days preceding my test I was able to successfully pass it! This was in spite of nervousness I had developed as a result of my previous failures. The instruction I received was clear, concise and constructive. My instructor was supportive and completely patient with me. I was shown how to eliminate a few bad habits I had picked up and given a good grounding in the test centre routes, which were new to me as I had previously used a different centre. I decided to take the test in one of the RSA Driving School cars as well. The car I own is old and this complicated vehicle control on maneuvers. In the school car I had no such issues and found the three pedals to be fully responsive. I have no doubt that driving a school car made a huge difference this time around, as did the instruction. Great experience as a customer! Thanks RSA Driving School - I should have gone to you two years ago!

I needed to renew my driver permit and in order to do so I needed to book my driving test, which I have been putting off for some time... I rang up and managed to get a cancellation date for my test. This didn't leave me much time and I was feeling a little panicked. I contacted the RSA Driving School at the last minute and they kindly managed to fit me in even working around my work hours. The Tuesday evening before my test I met up with my instructor Kev Horan, He went through a huge amount in the time we had and quickly pointed out my faults ie: clutching when not needed, not doing M.S.S ( mirrors, signal, shoulder) and many more. Within two lessons, one evening lesson and one the morning before my test Kev managed to correct all my faults and I felt much more confident doing my test. Without a doubt I have Kev Horan to Thank for passing my test as I would have not passed without his help. I would highly recommend this instructor to anyone as he is an excellent teacher and knows exactly what the tester is looking for in a full licenced driver.

I passed my test first time around as a result of the driving lessons I received from Peter. I was quite nervous initially but Peter's patience and clear instructions during lessons gave me confidence in my own driving abilities. Between lessons I did not have much driving time as i did not have my own car but the instructions I received during the lessons were enough to give me the confidence and experience to pass the test. I greatly appreciate Peter's help.
The Parody of Pass Rates
Unlike other driving schools, we’re not going to try and blinker you with pass rates. The shameful truth is that any school that boasts pass rates of 98% are feeding you lies which they can not substantiate. Why try to mislead the public? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. The reality is that at least 10% of students fail the test due to unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicles. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility. Fair warning, don't be fooled by these common place, outrageous claims.

I am delighted to write this review to highlight the fact that after four previously "failed" tests, I passed my test today. A large part of the happy outcome is due to the highly competent, effective and professional instruction I received from the RSA driving school, and in particular, my instructor, Kevin. I had gone to different instructors previously, and my confidence was at low ebb due to four previous failures. I was beginning to think that, somehow, this test eluded me. Fortunately, I happened upon the RSA school website, but was wary about picking another different school/ instructor, as I felt my driving tests had actually disimproved with each new school I attended! Luckily, I was provided with the complete antithesis to what I had experienced previously -- logical explanation, clarity of what was needed, and a teaching manner that was both personable and encouraging, while still clearly stating the work which needed to be done. Kevin was an excellent teacher, and only taught me for two lessons, and a pre test. My driving improved immeasurably and I was alerted to so many issues that I had not been advised about with other schools. I am a teacher myself, and previously felt frustrated regarding the "up and down" nature of teaching quality from other schools I experienced. But, in what can be quite an unregulated industry in terms of the quality of teaching, I cannot recommend the RSA school enough, and in particular, Kevin, my instructor. This is clearly a professional, highly competent and focused operation, who in effect, get the job done efficiently. They appear to genuinely want you to succeed. and accordingly, deserve to do very well. I have no doubt that they will do so. Goood luck, Miriam
