My name is Radhika and I was terrified to learn to drive! With some short and sweet help from the guys at RSA I passed my test! For most of my life I had been terrified of having to drive, but, eventually circumstances forced me to get myself together and get a couple of basic lessons in an automatic car and I took off on my own, after 4 years driving my own way, with lots of bad habits and lack of technical skills, my test date came round and I needed help badly. I called the RSA driving school in Tallaght only days before my test and was assured lessons in an automatic and also the same car hire for the test itself. After only 5 mins in the car my weaknesses were spotted and homed in on. In a friendly, helpful manner all of these were pointed out to me and the correct way to do things was drummed into my head. I headed out for my test slightly nervous, naturally, but after paying attention to the instructors advice I passed with no problem. I couldnt be happier. After years of self doubt all it took was a good, patient teacher and to get me my confidence and my full licence.

Would highly recommend Paul and RSA school. Paul tells you exactly what is required to pass the test, and is very professional and patient. Having tried driving schools and various driving instructors my advise to anyone thinking of getting lessons is to get really good lessons like these and not waste your time. This was my second time at the test and the lessons I had previous to RSA school were not in the same league. I completed my test with two 2 grade faults. One of which was my own fault when I cut out outside the test centre due to nerves. RSA School helped build my confidence as a driver, and got my driving up to test standard. Learning to drive can be both time consuming and expensive so I would absolutely recommend RSA school as there is no messing about. PS - on the day of the test Paul took me for lessons despite been sick, so thanks a million for all your help :) Highly recommended if you are serious about getting your test
The Parody of Pass Rates
We won't patronise you with stories of our grand pass rates. Any driving school that claims to have a 98% passrate or similar is quite frankly lying and could not prove it. Why lie? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. Here is the thing. Because of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicle a minimum of 10% of students fail the test on average. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility. Fair warning, don't be fooled by these common place, outrageous claims.

Passed my test today and its all thanks to Richard at RSA. He taught me from the very start and made sure I learnt how to drive properly and didn't pick up any bad habits while learning. All the instructions given were very clear and easy to follow. I was always a very nervous learner but Richard built my confidence in my driving and always made sure I was progressing and improving my driving skills. He is a very calm and patient instructor which makes it easy to relax and really focus on improving your driving skills and becoming a safe driver.
