I would recommend RSA Driving School without hesitation to anyone who is taking their driving test. I had previously failed the test twice because of a lack of clear guidance, however, having had only a handful of lessons with RSA in the days preceding my test I was able to successfully pass it! This was in spite of nervousness I had developed as a result of my previous failures. The instruction I received was clear, concise and constructive. My instructor was supportive and completely patient with me. I was shown how to eliminate a few bad habits I had picked up and given a good grounding in the test centre routes, which were new to me as I had previously used a different centre. I decided to take the test in one of the RSA Driving School cars as well. The car I own is old and this complicated vehicle control on maneuvers. In the school car I had no such issues and found the three pedals to be fully responsive. I have no doubt that driving a school car made a huge difference this time around, as did the instruction. Great experience as a customer! Thanks RSA Driving School - I should have gone to you two years ago!

I had a few lessons with Gary before my driving test in Finglas. He was a great instructor and really calmed my nerves. The airbag light turned on in my car the night before the test (panic central!) and Gary sorted out another diesel car for me to do the test in without any fuss. I had a few lessons with other instructors previously and they told me some ridiculous rules that were completely inaccurate (look in the mirror every 5 seconds, dry steering is a fail, etc). Gary used to be a tester himself so he really knows what he's talking about. I passed with zero marks on my test sheet (the tester told me to frame it!) I'd definitely recommend the RSA driving school.
The Parody of Pass Rates
Unlike other driving schools, we’re not going to try and blinker you with pass rates. Any driving school that claims to have a 98% passrate or similar is quite frankly lying and could not prove it. Why try to mislead the public? Simple really. When your reputation is unknown or in question and you need to get new students in the door, manipulating stats is often the only option you have. Here is the thing. Because of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues with vehicle a minimum of 10% of students fail the test on average. As I’m sure you can appreciate that means at best only 90% pass rate is achievable and even that is pushing the envelope of possibility. Fair warning, don't be fooled by these common place, outrageous claims.
